Acoustic guitar #8, curly maple parlor size-sold

This is the third parlor guitar I have built to this design, but the first two were custom instruments and are shown in the Shop News from May 2018 and November 2019 instead of here on the Guitars page.  This guitar has curly maple back, sides, and neck, with walnut binding, headstock overlay, truss rod cover, and neck stripes, persimmon fretboard and bridge, and spruce soundboard.  The nut and saddle are Corian and the bridge pins are ebony.  These little guitars are surprisingly resonant and loud, more than I would have expected.   The nut width is 1-3/4″ and the scale length is 24-3/4″.  The dots are brass and the fret wire is EVO.  This guitar has walnut binding on the fretboard as well as on the body.  The neck stripe configuration is a new version for me, the center pinstripe is curly maple and the two wider stripes are walnut.  There is a two way truss rod in the neck.   To see a short video demo please click on the link below:
