Guitar #14, cherry archtop-$1300

This is my fourth archtop guitar and 14th acoustic guitar overall.  It has a 17” body width and is built mostly following the design in Bob Benedetto’s excellent book on archtop guitar construction.  The scale length is 25”, the nut width is 1-3/4”, and the fretboard has a 12″ radius. The back, sides, and neck are cherry, the linings are walnut, the blocks are African mahogany, the headstock overlay and truss rod cover are spalted maple, the fretboard and endpin are jatoba, the bridge is persimmon, the tailpiece is maple, and the soundboard is Englemann spruce. This guitar is finished with Tru Oil and has Gotoh tuners and a Corian nut.  There is a two way truss rod in the neck. I don’t have a case for this guitar, as my supplier doesn’t have archtop cases.
