Banjo #104, walnut 10″ C scale slothead-sold

This is my first banjo with a granadillo fretboard, and my first slothead in a while.  It has Grover Sta-Tite tuners, and the hardware is a mix of nickel plated and brass, just like the tuners.  I made the Van Eps style tension hoop and the dowel stick brace, the Renaissance head and the tailpiece came from Smakula Fretted Instruments and the rest of the hardware came from Elderly Instruments and Balsam Banjo Works.  The scale length is 19-3/4″ and the nut is Corian, 1-3/8″ wide.  The rim is 10″ in diameter.  All of the wood is walnut except for the fretboard which is granadillo with brass dots.  The finish is Tru Oil.    I will sell the banjo without the Romero style armrest for $35 less if it isn’t wanted.  I will add spikes for $5 each if wanted.  To see a short video of this banjo please follow the link below:
