Banjo #133, 11″ cherry slot head-sold

This banjo is mainly cherry with a cherry burl peghead overlay and heel cap and a jatoba fretboard.  I will sell it without the Romero-style armrest for $895, just let me know.  The rim is 11″ with a wood tone ring profile, the scale length is 25.5″ and the nut width is 1-3/8″. It has Grover 18-1 Sta-Tite tuners and a two way truss rod in the neck, accessed at the heel.  The fret wire is EVO, the dots are brass, and the nut is Corian.  The Renaissance head and No-Knot tailpiece came from Samkula Fretted Instruments, I made the dowel stick yoke and Van Eps style tension hoop myself and the rest of the hardware came from Balsam Banjo Works.  The shoes are brass and the hooks and nuts are nickel plated.  There is a brass plate on the dowel stick with my name, the town and year of production and the banjo number on it.  I can install a Fiberskyn head on this banjo at no cost, and I can put in fretboard spikes for $5 each.  To see a short video demo please follow the link below:
