This is the 23rd banjo I have built. It has a 5/8″ thick rim and the nut width is 1-5/16″ with 1-3/32″ spacing from the 1st to the 4th string. There is a two way truss rod accessed from the heel. The fretboard and nut are jatoba which is also known as Brazilian cherry. The dots are maple dowels. The head is a Renaissance. The hardware all came from Stew-Mac and Elderly Instruments so it is of good quality. The tuners are made by Gotoh. The scale length is 26-1/4″ and the action at the 12th fret is 1/8 with the current bridge which is made from hop-hornbeam. The finish is Tru Oil.
