This is my first curly maple chicken head fiddle.  The back, ribs, neck, fingerboard, chin rest, and tailpiece are made from curly maple, the soundboard is Engelmann spruce with a dark streak near the center, and the end rest, endpin, nut and pegs are ebony.  The finish is Tru Oil.  This is a 4/4 fiddle, it’s the only size I make.  To see a video demo of this fiddle please follow the link below.
