This dulcimer is made entirely from cherry wood except for the internal brace, which is pine.  There is a streak of white sapwood in the edge of the back piece, it can be seen in some of the pictures.  This dulcimer has four strings and a 27″ scale length.  The neck is 1-1/4″ wide.  The bridge and nut are ebony, and the strings are made by Martin.  The finish is 5 coats of Tru Oil.
