These are both built to the same general design as all of the others I have built, though the cherry one (#41) is a bit narrower in the middle. #42 is my first dulcimer made from spalted maple, and it sounds very much like all of the other wood types I’ve tried, but it looks a bit different. They have a 27″ scale length and the bridges and nuts are rosewood. The price is $150 for #41(cherry), #42 (spalted maple) has been sold.
