This is my fifth archtop guitar and 17th acoustic guitar overall. This is my first archtop guitar with a one-piece back. It has about a 17” body width and is built mostly following the design in Bob Benedetto’s excellent book on archtop guitar construction. The scale length is 25”, the nut width is 1-3/4”, and the fretboard has a 12″ radius. The back, sides, neck, blocks and linings are walnut, the headstock overlay, truss rod cover, fretboard, bridge, tailpiece and endpin are zebrawood, and the soundboard is Sitka spruce. This guitar is finished with Tru Oil and has Gotoh tuners and a Corian nut. There is a two way truss rod in the neck. I don’t have a case for this guitar, as my supplier doesn’t have archtop cases.
